Went to buy the prizes for the corporate party game session. Also, watched "The Polar Express" over lunch (the visuals was incredibly real!). Thanks to Ryan for the cute card, Sid for remembering me on her trip to Hong Kong, TT for the lovely chocs (its not Royce, but its the thought that counts!), everyone for their well wishes and the 'mystery guy' for the lovely choc cookies, hmm... Mikko dropped by and just love the way he quipped, with his face full of concentration at that, "Auntie Azzah, can mummy go home now...?"
So, what have I learnt through out my one year here? The gift of friendship and the realisation that its not all bad where I am. Of course, the grass always looks greener on the other side... you just need to take a microscope to zoom in on the details to learn the truth... Aptly said, KS ;)
PS: Missing my dear pals, you know who you are...
Hopes for 2006:To live content with small means;
To seek elegance rather than luxury,
And refinement rather than fashion;
To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich;
To listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart;
To study hard; to think quietly, act frankly,
Talk gently, await occasions, hurry never;
In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious,
Grow up through the common
This is my symphony - William Henry Channing
